The Welland Jackfish have announced that All-Star infielder Jonah Weisner will return to the team for the 2026 season.
The Ottawa University (Kansas) alumnus posted a .349 batting average, recording nine doubles, one triple, and a career-high six home runs.
Before joining Welland, Weisner spent the 2022 and 2023 seasons in the Western Canadian Baseball League, where he was named league MVP in 2023 while playing with the Sylvan Lake Gulls.
He also previously suited up for the Quebec Capitales of the Frontier League.
The Welland Jackfish return to The Pond on Saturday, May 16.
