Organizers of Welland FoodFest have announced the event will not continue, after this year's October 2025 event was cancelled earlier this year.
In a statement shared online, the volunteer team said there are no plans to revive the festival in the foreseeable future, despite hopes it could return someday.
The group thanked vendors, bands, volunteers, and festivalgoers for supporting the effort to bring the event back to the island over the past two years, including its 10th anniversary edition.
Any remaining funds from the festival have been donated to Beyond The Streets Outreach.
