Three IceDogs named in NHL Central Scouting mid-term rankings

Three Niagara IceDogs players have earned recognition in the NHL Central Scouting North American mid-term rankings ahead of the 2026 NHL Entry Draft in Buffalo.

Forward Ryan Roobroeck was ranked 27th among skaters, defenceman Ben Reisnecker placed 130th, and goaltender Vladislav Yermolenko came in 14th among goalies, highlighting the depth of talent within the club.

Roobroeck has emerged as one of Niagara’s top offensive threats this season, while Reisnecker’s two-way play and size have impressed in his rookie OHL campaign, and Yermolenko has established himself as one of the league’s most reliable young netminders.

Roobroeck and Reisnecker will showcase their skills at the Connor McDavid OHL Top Prospects Game in Peterborough on Wednesday evening.

All three players are eligible for selection at the 2026 NHL Entry Draft, scheduled for June 26 and 27.
