The City of St. Catharines has officially launched its 150th anniversary celebrations.
Mayor Mat Siscoe marked the milestone with a ceremonial flag raising at City Hall, kicking off the 2026 anniversary year under the theme Our Common Ground.
Incorporated as a city on May 1, 1876, St. Catharines will celebrate its shared history and community spirit through a series of events and initiatives planned throughout the year.
Additional events and opportunities for public participation will be announced as the anniversary celebrations continue.
