Niagara Health and EllisDon have shared an update on the progress of the South Niagara Hospital project.
As of July 2025, two years after the groundbreaking, construction remains on schedule.
Approximately 85% of the concrete structure has been completed, and the design process is nearing finalization.
The new hospital will be a 1.3 million-square-foot, 12-story facility featuring 475 single-patient rooms.
Once complete, the South Niagara Hospital is expected to open in 2028, providing state-of-the-art healthcare services to the region.
