The City of Niagara Falls will honour the Honourable Rob Nicholson by renaming a section of the NS&T Trail between Meadowvale Drive and Drummond Road in his name.
A ceremony marking the dedication and the completion of recent resurfacing work from Kalar Road to Drummond Road will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. beside Meadowvale Park.
Nicholson, a long-time Niagara Falls resident, served in Parliament for over 24 years across four decades.
