Police searching for man after indecent act in Niagara Falls hotel

Niagara Regional Police are investigating after responding to a report of an indecent act at a hotel near Stanley Avenue and Dixon Street in Niagara Falls.

The incident occurred on Friday, September 19, at approximately 1:30 p.m., when a male suspect entered the hotel and approached a female employee.

Police say the suspect engaged in an indecent act and attempted to make inappropriate physical contact.

The employee quickly alerted a supervisor and called for help, prompting the suspect to flee the scene. He was last observed driving southbound on Stanley Avenue at 1:18 p.m. in a dark-coloured SUV, possibly an older model Ford Escape.

The vehicle had duct tape covering the rear window and a missing hubcap on the rear passenger tire.

The suspect is described as a brown male in his early 30s, standing between 5’10” and 6’0” with a slender build, short shaved dark hair, and a stubbled beard. At the time, he was wearing a black t-shirt, black track pants, and black shoes.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is urged to contact Niagara Regional Police.
