Niagara Regional Police say an arrest has been made in connection to an undercover investigation began in March of last year.
In February, the Niagara Internet Child Exploitation Unit teamed up with the Peel Regional Police Service to continue the investigation into the same suspect, who allegedly used the internet to communicate with children for a sexual purpose.
This week, detectives arrested 50-year-old Joseph Michael Mortillaro of Toronto, who has been charged with luring a child and harassment.
