The Niagara Regional Police Service has released results of its annual #HolidayHero campaign, raising thousands of dollars to support local families in need.
NRPS members and residents from across the region came together to help families supported by Community Care of St. Catharines and Thorold.
Police say demand was especially high this year, making community support even more important.
In the end, the campaign exceeded its fundraising goal, generating $13,000 to help families through Community Care’s holiday programs.
