Police are investigating an arson after a vehicle was deliberately set on fire Monday night in St. Catharines.
Officers with the Niagara Regional Police Service were called to Cayuga Street just before 9:30pm, where the parked vehicle was found burning in a driveway and later extinguished by St. Catharines Fire Services.
Investigators say gasoline was used to start the fire, which occurred while the vehicle was unoccupied.
Detectives are urging anyone with video surveillance or information from the area between 9:00 and 9:30 p.m. to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
