Niagara Regional Police say Beach Day 2026 saw a busy but largely manageable response across local shoreline areas.
At Sunset Beach in St. Catharines, officers say more than 800 students gathered.
There were two public intoxication charges, one assault charge, three trespass notices issued, and two medical incidents.
At Lakeside Park, where an estimated 200 to 300 students attended, police say officers dealt with two reports of suspicious adults who were asked to leave.
No major incidents were reported.
