Niagara-on-the-Lake is starting work on a long-term plan for Queen Street in the town’s Heritage District.
The Queen Street Secondary Plan will look at growth, transportation, parking, public spaces and the local economy, while protecting the area’s historic character.
The Town says the goal is to create a shared vision for the future of Queen Street that balances development with heritage and community needs.
The plan will also look at pedestrian safety, accessibility, infrastructure, climate resilience and opportunities to improve streets and public spaces.
