Niagara Health has launched its first Health Equity Plan a major step toward more inclusive, data-informed healthcare.
The plan targets disparities in care, focusing on three priority groups: older adults, individuals experiencing homelessness, and Black communities.
Unveiled at a webinar at the Marotta Family Hospital, the plan was developed through extensive community consultation and research.
Niagara Health will report publicly on its progress and continue engaging with the community to ensure transparency and impact.
