Niagara's New Country 89.1 is an award winning radio station.
The station won 'Small Market Station of the Year" last night at the Country Music Awards of Ontario.
Morning Show Host Rob Leclerc says the region is a hotbed for country music.
Rob says it's a team effort, adding that this award isn't possible without the community built at the grassroots level.
It's the first time CKYY, formerly known as Country89, has won the award in its 11-year history.
