A Niagara MPP is pushing for tougher rules on youth vaping.
Wayne Gates has teamed up with France Gélinas to introduce the Smoke-Free Ontario Amendment Act, also known as the Vaping is Not for Kids Act.
The bill would tighten restrictions on vaping products marketed to young people and follows similar measures adopted in Quebec.
Gates says parents and teachers are increasingly concerned about youth vaping and argues Ontario needs stronger protections to prevent nicotine addiction among children and teens.
