Niagara Centre MPP Jeff Burch says the Ontario government’s approval of a planning grant for Welland Hospital is a positive step for the community.
Burch notes that while the funding is welcome, it’s just the beginning.
He says he will continue pushing to ensure the hospital renovations result in a full-service facility, including after-hours emergency surgical services, so that Welland residents have access to the healthcare they need close to home.
