Drivers in Lincoln should be aware of a major road closure starting this month.
North Service Road will be closed to through traffic between Jordan Road and Seventh Street Louth from October 5th to November 27th, weather permitting.
The closure is needed for rehabilitation work on the 16 Mile Creek Bridge, near Charles Daley Park.
Drivers will be detoured using South Service Road, with the route posted in both directions.
Local residents and businesses will still have access from either end of the closure, and businesses will remain open.
Charles Daley Park will only be accessible from the east side, via Seventh Street Louth, and vehicles will not be able to cross the bridge during construction.
