Incident happened at the intersection of Niagara street and Church street
Niagara Regional Police responded to a report of shots fired at the intersection of Niagara Street and Church Street in St. Catharines.
Just after 2 a.m. this morning officers arrived on scene approximately one minute after the call for service.
They quickly confirmed that a shooting had occurred. The target of the shooting was a residence known in the drug subculture.
No injuries were reported.
At this time, there is no suspect information available.
Police believe this was a targeted incident and that there is no ongoing risk to public safety.
