On a night where Ryan Roobroeck climbed to 9th all time in IceDogs goals and 12th all time in points, Niagara won 4-3 on the road in Brampton Monday night.
Blake Barnes opened the scoring in the first, with his first in the OHL After a Brampton reply, Roobroeck's 20th made it 2-1 after one.
In period two, Ryerson Edgar converted a Riley Patterson rebound for his 7th. The Steelheads would creep closer but Patterson scored his 20th to extend the advantage to two. Once again, a Brampton power-play goal made it a one goal affair heading to the third.
In the final twenty, Krys Barch's team would close the door with the help of Vladislav Yermolenko and his 38 saves. Both Roobroeck and Patterson ended the night with a goal and two assists.
With the win, the IceDogs will hit the half-way mark moving up to sixth in the OHL's Eastern Conference.
