Hamilton Health Sciences offering RSV prevention medication this fall to newborns

MBC News file photo

Hamilton Health Sciences is offering RSV prevention medication again this fall for eligible babies at McMaster Children’s Hospital and West Lincoln Memorial Hospital.

Babies born at either hospital during RSV season can receive the medication before going home.

Infants born April 1st or later who are under eight months old may also qualify, along with some children under two who remain at higher risk.

Parents and caregivers can call the McMaster Children’s Hospital clinic to book an appointment.
