A Fort Erie man got the surprise of his life on his regular visit to the gas station.
When Georgios Avramopoulos checked his Lotto Max tickets there, one turned out to be a big winner, but when finding out it was a million dollar maxmillions prize, he recalls asking himself if it was real.
Turns out, it was, with the 62-year-old planning to use some of his winnings to return home to Greece and visit his family.
Avramopoulos says the win couldn't have come at a more perfect time.
