FirstOntario Credit Union is adding another $25,000 to flood recovery efforts across Niagara.
That brings the credit union’s total contribution to 35-thousand dollars following this summer’s flooding.
The money will be split between Community Care St. Catharines and Thorold and Community Care of West Niagara.
FirstOntario previously donated $10,000 through the Day of Giving Niagara radio campaign to help with immediate emergency needs.
The credit union says many residents are still facing a long road to recovery.
