Holiday spirit filled E.L. Crossley on the final Monday before winter break as the Interact Club hosted its annual Holiday Cheer collection, a tradition spanning more than 40 years.
After a pause during COVID restrictions, the event continues to grow stronger each year.
Students were welcomed by the school mascot and cheerleaders as they delivered food, toys, and warm clothing to the cafeteria.
With support from the Rotary Club of Fonthill, the school adopted 17 families registered with the Welland Salvation Army, providing food, gift cards, and personalized presents.
Thanks to the generosity of students, staff, and Rotarians, extra donations were also shared with additional families in need.
