A lockdown has been lifted at eight schools across the Niagara Region.
DSBN officials says all eight schools have been cleared by police, who deemed the e-mailed threats as not credible.
Officers were on scene at all eight schools as a precaution this morning. The schools impacted include:
-John Brant Public School
-Martha Cullimore Public School
-Ontario Public School
-Peace Bridge Public School
-Richmond Street Public School
-Orchard Park Public School
-Simcoe Street Public School
-Victoria Public School
In an e-mail to families, the Niagara Catholic District School Board says no threats were made to any of their schools.
We'll provide more updates as we learn more.
