Bob Gale has been officially appointed as Niagara’s new Regional Chair by the Government of Ontario, effective immediately.
A lifelong Niagara resident, Gale brings a broad background in public service, business, and community leadership.
He began his career with the Niagara Regional Police, earning the Medal of Merit, before growing Gale’s Gas Bars Limited into a significant local employer.
Gale and his family are also well known for their philanthropic support of Niagara, with contributions to hospitals, recreation facilities, youth programs, and cultural organizations.
Appointed following the passing of former Chair Jim Bradley, Gale now takes on the role of Regional Chair with a focus on advancing housing, transit, and long-term community prosperity for Niagara’s residents.
