A major provincial mental health initiative is being launched in Niagara Falls.

ATTCH Niagara, in partnership with the Ministry of Emergency Preparedness and Response, will announce the Trauma-Informed Emergency Readiness, or TIER program on July 13.

The initiative focuses on strengthening trauma-informed emergency response across Ontario.

Provincial officials, including Minister Jill Dunlop, will join ATTCH Niagara Executive Director Lori Gill and St. Catharines Deputy Mayor Bill Phillips for the announcement, which runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
