'A World Cup ticket is not a passport' CBSA issues reminders before thousands come to Canada for World Cup

The Canada Border Services Agency is urging FIFA World Cup visitors to plan ahead before travelling to Canada this summer.

Officials say fans, teams and media should make sure they have the proper travel documents, check border wait times and review rules on restricted items before arriving.

The agency reminds travellers that a World Cup ticket is not a travel document and that all goods, cash and restricted items must be declared at the border.
