One of Niagara's up and coming musicians is once again looking to make an impact when it comes to cancer research.
Lucas Mason will be holding his second Country for a Cure event at Warehouse in St. Catharines on January 17th, with proceeds going towards the Rankin Cancer Run.
He says he's always enjoyed seeing benefit shows, and wanted to start one of his own.
Mason will be headlining the show, while Jade Hilton, Drew Reinhardt and Liv Johnston will also be performing - marking the first show ever for Reinhardt and Johnston.
Lucas says an event like this is a great way to have them playing for a crowd for the first time.
Last year's concert raised around $3000, a number Mason says he would like to exceed this year. Tickets can be purchased here.
