As the clocks fall back this weekend, fire departments across Ontario want you to check the batteries in your smoke alarms as well.

Atkins adds that a working smoke alarm can often be the difference between life and death in the case of a fire.
Atkins adds that checking carbon monoxide detector batteries during a time change is also important.
