Today's tip has to do with smoke alarms. Michael Atkins from Welland Fire says they can be the difference between life and death
Atkins says you should also be changing the batteries twice a year, as well as checking to make sure your smoke alarm isn't past its lifespan.
Rules around smoke alarms have changed over the years, as they're now required in multiple areas of the home. Atkins explains.
