City teaming with RONA+ to help residents understand permit process
As the weather continues to get nicer and nicer with each passing week, more and more people will be spending more time on their back deck.
That's why the City of Niagara Falls is teaming with RONA+ to host Deck Day tomorrow, an informative event to help homeowners and contractors navigate the permit process.
Building Department Manager Fred Sacco says with the process all online now, it's important to keep people informed.
Sacco adds that they wanted to host the event at a location where people will go to buy materials to build a deck.
In addition to teaching about the permit process, Sacco says there will also be some helpful information for how to actually build the deck - including which materials are best.
Deck Day is being held tomorrow between 10:00am and 2:00pm at RONA+ in Niagara Falls on McLeod Road.
