The playground at Virgil Sports Park is open again after some major upgrades.
The Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake has added three belt swings, a tot swing and an accessible swing, along with a new rubberized surface to improve safety and accessibility.
The project came after residents identified more swings as a priority for the popular park.
The playground has now passed all safety inspections and is open for families to use.
The upgrades were funded through proceeds from last year’s Town Golf Classic.
