
Niagara Regional Police responded to a business in Lincoln where a bag was found with a firearm inside.
On Friday, June 27, at approximately 3:15 p.m. the weapon was seized by responding officers and an investigation began.
Two suspects, who were arrested July 9 in St. Catharines.
During the arrest, one suspect briefly pulled a firearm before dropping it and attempting to flee on foot.
30-year-old Chessen Johnston of Mississauga, and 25-year-old Shaqayeq Mezbani of New Brunswick face multiple charges.
