One occupant was treated for burn injuries
Niagara Regional Police have arrested a suspect in connection with a house fire in Thorold.
Thorold Fire and Emergency Services were called to Devine Crescent around 6 p.m. on June 19, where a house fire was reported.
All occupants were able to exit the home, and one person was treated for burn injuries. Due to the circumstances, detectives launched an arson investigation.
On June 20, police arrested 29-year-old property owner Navdeep Singh.
He has been charged with one count of arson - damage to property. Singh was released and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
