St. Vincent de Paul Parish in Niagara-on-the-Lake is celebrating a major milestone this year, its 200th anniversary.
The parish has been marking the bicentennial with a series of commemorative events, culminating Sunday, September 27th.
The celebration begins with a Eucharistic service at 2 p.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Church, followed by a gathering on the church grounds.
The day will wrap up with a gala dinner at the Prince of Wales Hotel.
The parish says its church has a rich history and is one of the oldest churches in Canada.
