Four people from southern Ontario have been fined a combined $10,500 by the Ministry of Natural Resources for moose hunting-related offences.
One of them was a man from St. Catharines, who plead guilty to unlawfully hunting a cow moose without a licence and using a moose tag issued to another hunter.
He was fined $4,500 and received a one-year hunting licence suspension.
Three additional individuals pleaded guilty to unlawfully transporting wildlife and were each fined $2,000.
