The St. Catharines Farmers Market is joining the province-wide celebration of Farmers Market Week, running until August 10.
Shoppers are invited to explore a wide selection of fresh, local produce, meats, flowers, baked goods, and handmade items every Thursday and Saturday at Market Square.
August marks peak growing season, with peaches, plums, corn, tomatoes, zucchini, and more available, much of it harvested just before market day. Saturdays also feature Music in the Square and the Discovery Table.
This week’s theme is “Peaches n’ Plums,” with music from Rob Repovs Music.
