Shoebox Project Niagara looking to collect for Niagara women experiencing homelessness

The Shoebox Project Niagara has launched its annual holiday drive, running until November 29, aiming to collect 1,200 gift-filled shoeboxes for women experiencing homelessness across Niagara.

Each shoebox, valued at around $50, contains essentials like shampoo and toothpaste, small luxuries like hand cream and fuzzy socks, and a personal note of encouragement.

Donations can be dropped off at local locations, with a final “Last Call” drop-off on November 29 from 12 to 2 p.m.

This year’s campaign, “Secure Her Tomorrow In a Culture of Kindness,” focuses on empowering women to build confidence and start anew.

2025 Drop-off Locations:

St. Catharines

Welland/Pelham

Niagara Falls/Port Colborne/Fort Erie

Grimsby/Lincoln
