Since April 2024, 91% of cases have avoided ER visits
SCOPE Niagara, a program that connects local family doctors with Niagara Health specialists for real-time support, is marking its third anniversary.
Launched with just 30 participants, it now supports over 227 primary care providers across the region.
The initiative offers quick access to nurse navigators and specialists in fields like mental health, nephrology, and diagnostic imaging.
Since April 2024, it’s fielded over 1,160 calls-helping avoid emergency room visits in 91% of cases.
