Niagara Regional Police were conducting a wanted person investigation in Thorold.
On Tuesday, September 2 at approximately 11:00 a.m., the NRPS K9 Unit was deployed to assist in locating the individual.
The track led officers near a local school, prompting police to notify the school and place it in a “Hold and Secure” status as a precaution for the safety of students and staff.
The investigation is ongoing.
