More than 9,000 people across Niagara will get help landing well-paying jobs thanks to a major investment from the Ontario government.
Through the Skills Development Fund Training Stream, over $13 million is being invested to support training in high-demand industries like construction, manufacturing, and food and beverage processing.
As part of a broader $2.5 billion investment, the funding is designed to help Ontario workers thrive-even as the economy faces global challenges.
Premier Doug Ford made the announcement alongside members of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 303 in Niagara Falls.
