Police looking for dark Cadillac ATS with Ontario plate DFYM586
Niagara Regional Police have released more information in connection to a shooting in Fort Erie.
Around 1:30am Wednesday, police responded to Niagara Boulevard between Bertie and Murray streets after reports a 27-year-old man had been shot in the lower body.
The suspect has been identified as 28-year-old Samuel Sawyer, who is wanted for aggravated assault and discharging a firearm. Police have released a photo of the vehicle he's believed to be driving, a dark Cadillac ATS with Ontario plate DFYM586.
Police say the victim was transported to an out-of-region hospital, and remains in stable condition.
