10:30am UPDATE: The suspect has been arrested.
Police in West Lincoln are asking residents in the area to shelter in place as the search continues for a man that's believed to be armed.
Just after 9:00am, NRPS said they were searching for a white 2009 Ford Ranger pickup with license plate 9475FT, being driven by a man in the area of Concession Road 2 and Centre Road.
Just before 10:00am, police urged residents to shelter in place, lock their doors and cars, and urged them not to answer their door. Officials are also asking people to avoid the area of Smithville Road, Bismark Road and Caistorville Road.
The suspect is described as a 38-year-old white man, roughly 6 feet tall with a beard and shaggy hair. Police say if he's seen, do not approach him and call 911 immediately.
