Like the Niagara River it spans, the Peace Bridge has continuously evolved to meet the demands of a changing world.
This year marks a major milestone, August 17, is the 100th anniversary of the bridge’s groundbreaking.
To celebrate, the Town is sharing a digital timeline from the Bridge that Peace Built exhibit at FortErie.ca.
Residents and visitors can also explore the full exhibit in person at the Buffalo-Fort Erie Public Bridge Authority building, 100 Queen Street, alongside the Mewinzha Archaeology and Indigenous History Gallery.
