Niagara Regional Police have arrested one of two suspects in connection with a Niagara Falls murder.
Last Thursday, police say two men assaulted a suspect, identified as 37-year-old Matthew McAra, near Lundy's Lane and Hanan Avenue.
One of those two men, 46-year-old Alexander Piccirillo, was arrested yesterday by police in the falls and charged with second degree murder, while 31-year-old Brandon Fitzgerald is still wanted for the same charge.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Fitzgerald is asked to contact the Niagara Regional Police Service at (905) 688-4111, option 3, extension 1009533. If he is observed, please do not approach him, and contact 911.
