The Niagara Regional Police Service is launching its Youth Police Academy this fall - an engaging program for students entering Grades 7 and 8 in September.
Running weekly from September to November, the free eight-week program offers hands-on activities, demos, and presentations covering areas like K9, forensics, traffic safety, and investigations.
Sessions take place Wednesdays from 4-6 p.m., with a graduation ceremony in week nine.
Open to Niagara residents in Grades 7 or 8, the program requires parental consent and full attendance.
