NRPS keeping an eye out for underage drinking during annual 'Beach Day' tradition

Beach Day has arrived in Niagara.

The annual, unsanctioned tradition usually takes place on the first Friday in June, with students flocking to local beaches to mark the end of the school year.

Niagara Regional Police say officers will be patrolling popular waterfront locations throughout the day, focusing on underage drinking and public safety.
