The speed limit is going down in parts of Niagara-on-the-Lake.
The Town made the announcement on its social media channels yesterday that all town-owned rural roads that are currently 80km/hr will be reduced to 70.
The town says this is part of a larger plan to reduce serious and fatal crashes, while also making it safer for residents, cyclists, tourists and farm vehicles.
The new signage will be posted later this month.
