Niagara Region and Niagara Health are teaming up to boost physician recruitment across the region.
The new partnership is aimed at improving access to both primary and specialist care, including in high-demand areas like emergency and internal medicine.
A jointly funded Physician Recruitment Coordinator will help expand efforts while supporting the region’s ongoing strategy to attract doctors to Niagara.
Officials say the goal is to strengthen recruitment, improve onboarding, and make Niagara a more attractive place for medical professionals to build their careers.
