Officers responded on June 12 and shut down area roads
Niagara Regional Police responded to reports of gunfire in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
On June 12, officers arrived and shut down roads in the area during the investigation.
Police have since arrested 62-year-old Edgar G. Lefebvre of Niagara-on-the-Lake.
He faces several charges including careless use of a firearm, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and reckless discharge of a firearm.
No injuries were reported.
